Hi all. I fancy fermenting some wine. I have some brewers' yeast and wonder two things 1- can I use these tablets to make a starter bottle, if so can anyone give me any pointers? 2- can I use brewers' yeast in the must for my wine? I've brewed and fermented before now but I generally use packets of yeast.
You would probably be better off using a wine yeast such as Red Star
Premier Cuvee. I've not needed to make a starter with it, just re-hydrated
