View Full Version : Where did my message go?

Seems a little strange ..... I posted a message not too long ago that was
a little critical of the direction this group was going / at, and now it's
not here. I can see messages from months ago, but mine is gone. No
responses - nothing.
It is nice that I can learn how to seduce more women instantly; find out
how to descramble cable channels; meet and (well, you know - "do") more
women today; quit smoking; attract, seduce and date even MORE women easily;
enlarge my "stuff" (sorry, but based on all of the women I've been seducing
lately, I think I'm all set in that department) and I can learn how to shred
files (obviously pics taken of that woman I seduced - after enlarging my
"stuff" - while we were watching illegal cable channels. And I think we did
share a smoke afterwards. Sorry).
Any ideas? Who is the moderator here?

*NO* moderator!!!! 8-)

I presume your message was as follows.....probably expired on *your* news server.....

--------------------------------------

"I thought this group was for home automation - where's the automation part?
I don't think I've seen anything about system control that wasn't based on
X-10. What about keypads, touch panels or at least good learning remotes?
How the heck are these DIYers gonna turn the volume down? Multi-room /
multi-source? Video distribution?

It's great that people doing things themselves can get some information, but
geez! Some of the responses .... ah, never mind - it'll just start another
long thread full of chest-pounding comments that no one will want (or need)
to read.

If you're wiring your house, read through the posts and ask questions. Then,
at a minimum, speak with someone in your area that has a good reputation in
the custom A/V business. Even if you have to pay a modest consulting fee
(tell them up front that you're wiring it yourself), chances are that they
will have suggestions you never even thought of, products you've never seen
before or just good advice for your situation. Remember that you and your
family have to live with the end result. There's nothing worse than spending
time and money on something that doesn't work like you "thought" it would."

Thanks, Mike.
Was wondering where the heck that thing had gone. Recently had to change
my server settings / locations, so that might explain it. Oh, I almost
forgot to add that along with all of the women I can get, I can also turn $6
into $60,000 in 90 days!!! Geez - add that to all of the other things I
mentioned and I'm a HAPPY guy!!! The heck with it - I'm gonna break out 60
bucks and go for it!

Thanks, again - everyone have a great long weekend.
