View Full Version : Base molding not even with floor or flush with wall

The previous owner put in oak base that isnt even with the floor and
also has gaps away from the wall. (and the lazy hack never stained or
finished the wood).
Only guessing what my options are.
1. carefully fill the gaps molding and wall then stain base to match
floor (have to live with gaps between floor)
2. Fill all gaps and paint everything.
Also, what should I use to fill the gaps (wood filler, spackle or ???)
